Both visitors and residents of Alaska are notorious for squeezing a massive amount of work and play into just a few weeks of long-lighted summer.
The four-person crew from Boston which put together "Touching the Game, Alaska" is no exception.
The documentary on the Alaska Baseball League, which will be released on Nov. 30, was created primarily with footage shot in 18 days in 2006 and 18 days in 2007.

Right-hander Jorge Campillo, a World Baseball Classic teammate of Kansas City closer Joakim Soria, has signed a Minor League contract for 2010 with the Royals.
Campillo, who was with Soria on Mexico's team last spring, missed most of the 2009 season because of right shoulder tendinitis.
He pitched in five games for Atlanta with a 1-0 record and 4.15 ERA.

The 2012 All-Star Game seems to be edging closer to a home in Kansas City.
That was the indication after Major League Baseball's Owners' Meetings on Thursday in Chicago, where Commissioner Bud Selig hinted that the newly renovated Kauffman Stadium would get the game.
"I haven't made a final decision, but we did promise [the Royals] an All-Star Game at some point," Selig said.

The Kansas City Royals announce that the club's Majestic Team Store near Gate C of Kauffman Stadium will have numerous Zack Greinke Cy Young merchandise on sale beginning today.
Fans will have the opportunity to purchase special Cy Young baseball plaques beginning today, exclusive Cy Young T-Shirts in adult and youth sizes on Friday, photos, hats, pennants and signs early next week and bracelets by the first few weeks of December.
